ABOUT US

Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 450’s public website!  We have been part of the Deerfield community since 1962.   We draw scouts from Deerfield, Ravinia, Bannockburn and other area schools.  We welcome all boys and girls in 1st  – 5th grades.

Our pack consists of five dens – Senior Webelos (5th graders), Junior Webelos (4th graders), Bear (3rd graders), Wolf (2nd graders), and Tiger (1st graders).
Pack 450 is part of the Boy Scouts of America’s Northeast Illinois Council (NEIC),  Aptakisic District.  Our Charter Organization is the American Legion Post 738 (Deerfield, IL).

How do I get my child involved?

Cub Scouting is available to boys and girls in 1st – 5th grades.

 

We have Den meetings 1 – 2 times per month and Pack meetings 1 time each month.

We welcome adult involvement.  Parents and Guardians are an intregral part of our programming. 

If you were a scout as a child and want to get involved again, we look forward to hearing from you. If you are a parent of a cub scout and want to take a leadership role, we would love to have you join us.

Cub Scout Activities

Pack 450 is an active group of scouts and family members. We camp, run pinewood derby cars, participate in civic events, charity events, visit the fire department & police department, learn new skills like archery, fishing, stem, cooking, safe hiking, collecting, use of a compass, first aid and much more…..
